JAKARTA (RambuEnergy.com) – Ophir Indonesia (Bangkanai) Ltd is opening a tender for provision of fixed wing aircraft services to support its operations. The aircraft will be used to support its Kerendan field, Bangkanai PSC in Central Kalimantan.
The company sets minimum local content of a minimum of 90%.
The company sets registration date on April 7-17. The prequalification (PQ) documents are available on Apr 18 and submission of the PQ documents at the latest April 26, 2017.
Ophir holds a 70% operating interest in the Kerendan field, Bangkanai PSC and PT Saka Bangkanai Kalimantan holds a 30% equity interest.
Ophir has three PSCs in Greater Bangkanai, onshore Kalimantan. These include the Kerendan gas field development within the Bangkanai PSC and two adjacent exploration licences, North East Bangkanai and West Bangkanai.
Ophir Energy Plc said it is making good progress in monetizing the Kerendan Field in Bangkanai PSC in onshore Kalimantan.
The company said it has been told by PLN that the last transmission pylon required to complete the 290 km Tanjung line was installed in December 2016 and cables are currently being pulled.
The line will connect the Kerendan gas field into the regional power grid and will enable gas production from Kerendan to ramp up to the full daily contract quantity (DCQ) of 20 MMscfd, it said.
Meanwhile Ophir continues to accrue a take-or-pay receivable due from PLN for 80% of the DCQ volume. (*)
