JAKARTA (RambuEnergy.com) – Husky-CNOOC Madura Limited (HCML) relaunches a tender for the procurement of jack-up drilling rig and services for MDA-MBH-MDK fields, located in offshore East Java.
The jag-up drilling rig will be used to support its drilling activities in offshore fields operated by HCML in Madura Strait.
The registation is set on March 1-3 and March 6 at HCML Office, Gedung Bursa Efek Indonesia, Tower I, 24th floor.
Following is the specifications for the jack-up drilling rig:
– The length of the jack-up rig should be able to drill with water depth of 268 feet up until 340 feet
– The tall of the platform is 99-101 feet
The company plans to drill seven wells, with two additional wells as options. The company plans to carry out the drilling works in the fourth quarter 2017.
The bid winner is required to process all the required permits to carry out the drilling activities from SKK Migas and other government related agencies.
The bid winner should assure readiness of equipment, materials and components of the rig in the jack up rig or in the contractor’s supplybase in Banyuwangi, East Java area.
The Madura BD gas field is located in the Madura Strait production sharing contract (PSC), offshore East Java, Indonesia, approximately 65km east of Surabaya and 16 km south of Madura Island. First gas from the field is expected in 2017.
Husky-CNOOC Madura, is the operator of the PSC. Husky Oil and CNOOC hold a 40% interest each in HCML, while the remaining 20 percent working interest is held by Samudra Energy, through its affiliate SMS Development. HCML is currently developing a number of fields in the PSC including MDA, MBH and MDK fields.(*)
