CNOOC launches tender for procurement of one unit of straight cargo vessel

JAKARTA (rambuenergy.com) – China’s oil and gas company service company CNOOC Southeast Sumatra Ltd (CNOOC SES Ltd), opens a tender for rental of one unit of straight cargo vessel to support its offshore operations.

The company sets registration date on March 17-22, 2016 at the company’s office in Jakarta.

The provider is required to provide one unit of straight cargo vessel, which is registered in Indonesia, with capacity of 3000  – 5000 horse power (HP).

The rental period will be last for 839 days.  The vessel should meet IMO standards such as SOLAS 1974, ISM COde and others.

All CNOOC SES oil and gas block facilities are situated offshore Java Sea, northeast of the Sunda Strait between Java and the southern most corner of Sumatra.

CNOOC SES Ltd currently produces approximately 43,000 barrels of oil per day (bopd) and 150 million standard cubic feet (MSCF) gas per day that delivered to the state electricity company PT PLN as a fuel gas for power generation plant in Cilegon.

Currently CNOOC SES Ltd. operates 34 production fields, 78 active offshore facilities (58 production platforms and 28 caissons). Crude oil is produced using Electric Submersible Pumps (ESP) from 415 wells, processed on 6 process platforms and transported by a sub-sea pipeline system to two storage facilities, the Widuri Terminal and the CNOOC 114 terminal. (*)
