Vale Indonesia records highest annual production in 2015

JAKARTA (rambuenergy.com) – PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (IDX: INCO), a nickel producer, recorded the highest annual production volume in its history in 2015. In the year, its production volume reached 81,177 metric tons (t), which was about 3 percent higher than the 2014 annual production volume.

”We are proud of and grateful for this achievement. It is clearly a result of hard work and devotion from all employees at the Company,” said Nico Kanter, CEO and President Director of PT Vale, commenting on the achievement.

Production volume in the fourth quarter of 2015 (4Q15) was about 8 percent higher than the production volume realized in Q4 2015 and an increase of 1 percent over the volume of the previous quarter (3Q15).

The production volume in 4Q15 represents the highest quarterly production volume in the history of PT Vale. The Company maintains its 2016 full year production target of around 80,000 t of nickel.  (*)
