JAKARTA (rambuenergy.com) – Indonesian State electricity company PT PLN has opened tender for the Muara Tawar Combined Cycle Power Plant Block 2,3 and 4 add on project 650 MW.
In a published announcement, the company invites interest parties for an international competitive bidding through two stages bidding process for project.
The configuration of the Add-on Project consist of two HRSG and one Stream Turbine for Block 2;3 HSG and one Steam Turbine for Block 3; and three HRSG and one Stream Turbine for Block 4.
Bidders shall be a company from OECD country members who has diplomatic relation with Indonesia, as parties or voluntary formed consortium, joint venture or joint operation, while foreign company (s) shall engage capable Indonesian company in a form of joint venture, joint operation or consortium.
The project will be financed by corporate loan to PLN at minimum amount of 70 percent of the contract price, covering both local and foreign portion and PLN’s own budget. At least 50 percent of the loan portion shall be covered under Export Credit Agency (ECA) and the remaining loan portion shall be covered by the lender or any other sources, without government guarantee and collateral.
The scope of the works will cover full EPC contract for design, manufacture, inspection and testing at manufacture’s facility, packing to export, shipment, insurance, custom clearance, delivery to the site, unloading, storing and handling at the site, complete erection, on site testing and commissioning, performance testing, operation and maintenance during testing and commissioning, warranty and inspection prior to final acceptance test of a complete plant.
The company said the proposed main equipment shall be suitable for integration into the existing facilities, namely the existing GT’s of Muara Tawar Block 2-3-4 and operate in stable and safe operation.
PLN set last date for submission of bid document to its head office on Feb. 9, 2016.
