JAKARTA (rambuenergy.com) – PT Humpuss Intermoda Transportasi Tbk is planning to buy one small LNG vessel next month to support its LNG distribution business.
President Director of Humpuss Theo Lekatompessy said the vessel will have capacity of 20,000 square meter. The small LNG vessel will be used to transport LNG to independent power producer (IPP) operating in Bali, from Jan. 1, 2016, Bisnis Indonesia reported.
The company has set aside $45-$60 million investment to buy new vessels this year. However, the investment is likely below target as a number of tenders held by the SKK Migas were delayed.
The company’s corporate secretary Daryono said Humpuss is taking part in a number of vessel procurement tenders which are being held by a number of entities.(*)
