TENDER INFO: ConocoPhillips launches EPC pre-qualification for Suban compression project

JAKARTA (rambuenergy.com) – ConocoPhillips, the operator of Grissik and Suban fields in South Sumatera, has launched pre-qualification process for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of the development of compression in Suban field, on the Corridor Block production-sharing contract (PSC) area in South Sumatera.

The company requires interested parties to meet minimum local content of 55 percent for the project. All local, national and joint venture of national and international companies are eligible to take part in the tender.

The winner will be responsible for the EPC of inlet compression facility in semi brownfield in South Sumatera, which will cover project management, detailed engineering, procurement of all materials and equipment, fabrication (including testing and inspection), construction and installation of all equipment (including pipe and piping structure), tie-ins, pre-commissioning, as well as providing support for the commissioning and start up until the facility starts operating.

The company did not disclose the value of the tender. Only parties that meet the pre-qualification will be invited to take part in a tender.

Pre-qualification documents are available on Nov 23-26, registration on Nov 26 and latest date submission for declaration of local content on Nov. 27.

ConocoPhillips holds 54 percent interest in Suban field, Talisman 36 percent and Pertamina 10 percent. (*)
