JAKARTA (rambuenergy.com) – PT Sugih Energy Tbk said the company expects Lemang Block in South Sumatera to start producing oil in December this year. Currently, rig is being mobilized to the block.
Andika Anindyaguna, president director of Sugih Energy was quoted by Kontan as saing that it takes 45 days before the rig is fully installed and begin opration.
Lemang Block has three key wells namely Selong, Akatara I and Symur Akatara II wells.
“Our target is that one of the wells will start operation in December this year and the other two in early 2016,” he said Monday (Oct 5).
Sugih hopes Akatara will produce 1,635 barrels of oil per day in early 2016 and reached peak production of 4,187 bpd in 2017.
Gas production is projected to reach 4.1 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) in the coming years.
The total investment of Lemang Block reaches US$50 million.
