JAKARTA (rambuenergy.com) – The Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry (ESDM) through Directorate General for New, Renewable and Energy Conservation (Ditjen EBTKE) will soon issue new regulation related with feed-in tariff for wind and rooftop solar power.

In addition, the ministry will also revise feed-in tariff for bioenergy such as biogas and biomass in order to make investment in these sectors more attractive.

The ministry also said it will issue two government regulations on geothermal related with the utilization of geothermal energy.

“All of these regulations are aimed to stimulate the development of renewable energy in the country and attract investors interest,” said Director General for EBTKE Rida Mulyana.

He added his office is revising the bioenergy ruling to make the tariff to be more attractive. The revision will pave the way for palm oil plantation companies to utilize palm oil waste for producing biofuel.
