Santos opens tender for one FPSO unit for Ande Ande Lumut field project

JAKARTA (rambuenergy.como) – Santos Northwest Natuna B.V., a subsidiary of Australia’s Santos Ltd, has opened tender for leasing one unit of floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) that will be used to support the company’s Ande Ande Lumut project in offshore Natuna Sea.

The scope of the work includes leasing service, operate and maintains the FPSO, providing design and engineering service, fabrication and construction, conversion, integration and operation.

The absolute minimum working storage of the FPSO is set at 570,000 barrels of oil (excluding ullage requirement). The leasing contract will last for nine years with option to extent in several stages [3+2+ (6×1) years].

Registration and collection of prequalification document has been set for June 17-22, 2015 and submission of prequalification document is set on July 9, 2015.

Santos holds 50 percent interest in Northwest Natuna PSC, including the Ande Ande Lumut (AAL) oil development project and the remaining shares are owned by AWE Limited. Santos acts as the operator of the block.

The first oil flow from the project is expected to come out in late 2017, with initial production expected to reach above 25,000 barrels of oil per day.

AWE has said that the total development cost of the AAL project is estimated to reach US$800 million. (*)
