Pertamina Geothermal to prequalify for Lumut Balai geothermal plant EPC

JAKARTA (rambuenergy.com) – PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy, a subsidiary of state owned oil and gas company PT Pertanuba, announced a plan to prequalify eligible bidders for the plant design, supply, construction, installation, testing and commissioning of the complete Fluid Collection Reinjection System and 1×55 MW of Lumut Balai Geothermal Power Plant project in South Sumatera.

PGE said the prequalification will be conducted through prequalification procedures specified in the Guidelines for Procurement under Japanese ODA Loans, March 2009, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries, as defined in the guidelines.

The geothermal power plant project is funded under the ODA loan scheme from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

The prequalification documents are available for non-refundable fee of Rp 10 million. Submissions of applications for prequalification should be delivered by hand or by registered mail to the company’s office not later than 30rd April 2015.

PGE is expected to make invitations to make Bid on May 1, 2015.
