JAKARTA (rambuenergy.com) – PT Pertamina Gas (Pertagas), a subsidiary of state owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina, posted net profit of US$178.7 million in 2014, increased 12 percent from 2013 net profit of US$158.4 million.
The net profit rise was in line with an increase in revenues, which reached US$698.6 million in 2014, up 12 percent from 2013 revenues of US$615 million.
President Director of Pertagas Hendra Jaya said all business units of Pertagas showed encouraging results in 2014. Gas volume sales in 2014 reached 40,979 billion British Thermal Unit (BBTU), increased 21 percent from previous year of 33,866 BBTU.
LPG lifting reached 385 tons per day, up 48 percent from previous year of 259 tons per day. The company delivered 12,880 barrels per day (BPD) of oil in 2014, compared to 12,352 BPD in previous year.
In 2014, the company developed a number of major projects, such as Muara Karang – Muara Tawar pipeline network, Semarang-Gresik pipeline. The latest one is the Arun-Belawan pipeline network. (*)
