Multi Agro to develop palm oil mill to boost CPO output

JAKARTA (rambuenergy.com) – PT Multi Agro Gemilang Plantation Tbk (MAGP.IJ) is planning to develop a palm oil mill with a capacity of 30 tons per hour, aiming at increasing its crude palm oil (CPO) production.

President Director of Multi Agro Djoko Prijatno said the company will spend Rp110 billion to build the mill.

Currently, the company operates one palm oil mill with capacity of 45 tons per hour located in Aceh.

In the ten months to October 2014, the company produced 10,9410 tons of crude palm oil and sold 11,343 tons of CPO. It also produces 2,365 tons of palm kernel and sold 2,327 kernel. Fresh fruit bunches (FFBs) production in the period reached 57,679 tons.

The company owns a number of palm oil estate subsidiaries including PT Boswa Megalopolis, PT Bumi Orion Sawit Subur and PT Brent Bultidaya. (*)
