House approves capital injection to a number of SOEs

JAKARTA (rambuenergy.com) – The House Commissions VI and XI as well as the Budget Committee (Banggar) of the House of Representative have approved capital injection worth Rp39.92 trillion to a number of state owned companies (SOEs) under the auspices of the State Enterprise Ministry.

Among companies that will receive capital injection are shipbuilder PT PAL Indonesia, aviation company PT Dirgantara Indonesia, shipyard company PT DOK Perkapalan Surabaya, construction firms PT Waskita Karya and PT Adhi Karya Tbk, airport operator PT Angkasa Pura II, and more.

The House members rejected capital injection worh Rp5.6 trillion tto Bank Mandiri and Rp956 billion to PT Krakatau Steel Tbk, a steel maker.

The capital injection plan is expected to be endorsed by the House Plenary Session today (Feb. 13).

The last three was decided  in the last meeting between the government and the House Commission VI.

The House also approved to inject capital to five companies under the auspices of Finance Ministry, namely PT Geodipa (Rp673 billion), PT SMI (Rp20.536 billion), PT PAL (Rp1.5 trillion), PT SMF (Rp1 rillion and PII (Rp1.5 trillion. (*)
