Pertamina to procure 30 units time charter vessels For February-July period

JAKARTA (rambuenergy.com) – State owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina said it plans to procure 30 units of time charter vessels to support the company’s distribution of white oil, crude/black oil, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), support STS (for tug boat).  The tanker vessels will be chartered by Pertamina for period of February to July 2015.

The company invites ship-owners to submit their interest for the procurement of the vessels. “We invite ship owners, both domestic and overseas, that are interested to participate in the procurement process,” Pertamina announced.

Pertamina said it will charter 6 vessels in February, 2 units in March, 9 units in April, 6 units in May, 4 units in June and 3 units in July.

Pertamina said the vessels must fit to store and to carry all agreed types of with minimum agreed grades of cargo in accordance with the Vessel’s natural segregation without admixture.

In addition, the vessel can safely load and discharge minimum 2 grades of cargo simultaneously without admixture. During the charter period, the vessel shall be able to load and to discharge cargo by night as well as by day as required by charterers or their agents provided the local port regulations allow to do so.
