KrisEnergy launches prequalification process for Lengo gas field FEED

JAKARTA (rambuenergy.com) – KrisEnergy (Satria) Ltd, a member of KrisEnergy group based in Singapore, has launched prequalification process for Front End Engineering Design (FEED) of Lengo gas field development, which is located in the Bulu block, offshore East Java.

The prequalification was launched after the company secured the plan of deveopment (PoD) approval from the Indonesian at end December 2014.

The company invites companies that are interested to handle the FEED activities. The scope of the work will cover preparing the FEED for the development of various production facilities of the field, including unmanned oil and gas plaform, underwater pipeline along 65 km, onshore piple along 5 km and onshore gas receiving facility.

The registration form is available on Jan. 8 and should be submitted on Jan. 13. Only shortlisted parties that will be allowed to take part in the FEED tender, which will be announced in later date.

The Bulu production sharing contract (PSC) covers 697 square kilometers in three separate areas – Bulu A, Bulu B and Bulu C – over the East Java Basin in water depths of 50 to 60 meters.

The production is expected to start two years after the company and its partners declared final investment decision (FID).

KrisEnergy holds a 42.5 percent operated working interest in the Bulu PSC, AWE Limited of Australia holds 42.5 percent, while local partners PT Satrio Wijayakusuma holds 5 percent interest and PT Satria Energindo holds 10 percent. (*)
