JAKARTA (rambuenergy.com) – Sofyan Basir, president director of Bank Rakyat Indonesia, has been appointed by the government as new president director of state electricity company PT PLN, replacing Nur Pamudji, State Enterprise Minister Rini Soemarno told reporters after holding PLN shareholders meeting on Tuesday.
She said the government has also appointed Chandra Hamzah, former senior executive of the Indonesian Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK), as chief commissioner. Hamzah is also currently a member of the Oil and Gas Governance Reform Team member. (*)
