JAKARTA (rambuenergy.com) – PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk [AALI.IJ] said its crude palm oil (CPO) production in the 11 months to November reached 1.61 million tons, or increased by 15.4 percent compared to the same period on 2013.
Meanwhile, from January to November 2014, Astra Agro’s fresh fruit bunches (FFBs) production reached 5.12 million tons or increased by 9.7% compared to the same period last year.
The company’s FFB production from its Kalimantan palm oil plantations contributed 42.1 percent to total FBB production, up from 39.2 percent in 2013. FFB production from Sumatra region contributed 40.6 percent to total FFB production, down from 42.7 percent last year, while Sulawesi region contributed 17.3 percent, down from 18.1 percent last year.
Astra Agro’s Kernel production reached 343,468 tons in the eleven months to November or increased by 15.7% from 296,886 tons in 2013.
From January to November, the company posted sales volume of 1.26 million tons, increased
and Olein sales volume reached 203,374 tons.
Its average CPO selling price until November 2014, increase by 17.3 percent to Rp 8,334 per kg. Meanwhile kernel sales volume reached 324,244 tons with 57.9 percent selling price increase to Rp 5,197 per kg. (*)
