JAKARTA (Rambu Energy) – Santos Northwest Natuna B.V, a subsidiary of Australia’s oil and gas company Santos Ltd, kicks off a tender for engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) of wellhead platform for the Ande Ande Lumut development project, in Northwest Natuna PSC.
The scope of the work will cover, design, procurement, fabrication or construction, onshore pre-commissioning, load-out, sea transportation to the Ande Ande Lumut field, hook-up, offshore pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up assistance for the offshore well-head platform (WHP).
The WHP component will comprise of jacket structure, topsides and piles.
The scope of the works will part of the Ande Ande Lumut development project, which is located in offshore Northwest Natuna.
The company set registration date on Nov 24-26, followed by pre-qualification meeting on Dec. 8 at the company’s office (Santos Northwest Natuna B.V., Ratu Plaza Office Tower 4th Floor, Jl Jend. Sudirman) and submission of pre-qualification document on Dec. 26, 2014.
Santos holds 50 percent interest in Northwest Natuna PSC, including the Ande Ande Lumut (AA) oil development project and the remaining shares are owned by AWE limited, an Australian listed oil and gas company. Santos acts as the operator of the block.
The first oil from Ande Ande Lumut project is expected to come out in late 2017, delayed from early plan of 2016. The AAL initial production rate is expected to reach at above 25,000 barrels of oil per day (bopd).
AWE said earlier that the total development cost of the AAL project is estimated at US$800 million. (*)
