JAKARTA (Rambu Energy) – PT Isar Gas, a national gas distributor company, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to deliver gas to PT Indonesia Power, a subsidiary of state electricity company PT PLN.
The MOU was signed by Isar Gas Director Wachid Hasyim and Indonesia Power President Director Supangkat Iwan Santoso at Indonesia Power head office last week. Under the MOU, Isar Gas will supply and deliver natural gas to Indonesia Power’s power plant in Grati, Pasuruan, East Java.
Based on the agreement, Isar Gas will begin delivering gas to the power plant starting from the second quarter of 2015. Initially, Isar Gas will deliver 10 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) and in he second stage it will transport 30 MMSCFD of natural gas to the power plant.
Director of Isar Gas Wachid Hasyim said that his company is determined to give the best support and service. Indonesia Power President Director hopes that the delivery of gas will be realized on time.
Isar Gas engaged in natural gas transmission and distribution, with sister companies PT Alas Energy Indonesia, PT Inti Alasindo Energy, PT Java Gas Indonesia, PT Surya Cipta Internusa , PT Inti Daya Latu Prima and PT Banten Inti Gasindo. (*)
