JAKARTA (Rambu Energy) – PT Pandawa prima Lestari (PPL), a Production Sharing Contractor (PSC), retenders the Integrated Project Management (IPM) and other support services for the development of two onshore wells within WAIN block in East Kalimantan province.

The scope of the work will cover the drilling of two exploration wells – Karamba Undip-1 and Mentawir-2.

The company said in a tender announcement that the bidders are required to have land drilling rig with capacity of 750 horse power (HP) or 1000 HP with “integrated project management drilling service contract for drilling the two exploration wells.

The drilling campaign is scheduled to launched in the first quarter of 2015. One well is a firm drilling progra, and the other one is an optional drilling, it said.

The registration is set for Oct 21-24 at the Procurement Committee of PT Pandawa Prima Lestari’s office.

PT Pandawa Prima Lestari was established on March 24, 2005 in Jakarta. The company was awarded to explore and exploit oil & gas in the Wain Block, East Kalimantan two years after its establishment.

Wain Block covers 3 regencies in East Kalimantan: Balikpapan, Penajam Paser Utara and Kutai Kertanegara. The total coverage area of Wain Block is 1,149.30 square kilometers. (*)
