Logindo targets to get new contracts of up to US$150 mln next year

JAKARTA (Rambu Energy) – PT Logindo Samudramakmur Tbk (LEAD.IJ), an offshore service vessel provider, targets to increase its new contracts of between US$100 million to US$150 million next year.

Eddy K. Logam, president director of Logindo, was quoted by Kontan as saying that the target is higher than contracts worth around US$70 million secured for this year. To support the target, the company will seek new contract to supply vessels to oil and gas industry.

He said at present the company is taking part in six-seven new tender to procure offshore supporting vessels.

Recently, the company secured contract from ENI SpA worth US$27 million to support the company’s operaion in Muara Bakau, East Kalimantan. The contract, which will commence in November this year, will last for three years.

To support the demand from ENI SpA to have a 12,000 horse power of vessel, Logindo is buying two Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) DP2 system with capacity of 8,000 HP. The purchase of the two new vessels strengthens company’s fleet to 61 vessels. (*)
